Comprehensive Eye Exam  The comprehensive exam includes a detailed eye and systemic history, and evaluation of any eye-related complaints.  You will receive a careful measurement of your glasses prescription and/or contact lens prescription.  Various solutions to your visual needs will be addressed.  You will also receive a thorough evaluation of your ocular health, including a check of intra-ocular pressure (glaucoma screening), and a dilated evaluation of your retina.  This will allow the doctor to screen for any anomalies of the eye itself, as well as to screen for changes manifesting in the eye that are related to possible systemic issues such as diabetes

Emergency Appointments The doctors are available to take care of your emergency needs, including foreign bodies in the eyes, conjunctivitis, acute vision changes, and contact lens related problems.

Ocular Disease Management/Co-management for conditions such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Cataracts and Diabetes.  Many conditions can be managed and followed in the office.  If referrals become necessary Dr. Westfall and Dr. Singh will refer and co-manage with the appropriate specialists and surgeons.  The doctors will be certain that your questions are answered and your needs are met.

Low Vision Care Low vision care applies to those individuals who were born with or have acquired handicapping visual conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetes.  Visual impairment could range from difficulty to read the newspaper or seeing bills with prescription glasses to legal blindness.  Low vision patients are not helped by typical glasses or contacts.  Dr. Singh and Dr. Westfall received additional training at the Eastern Blind Rehabilitation Center, treating legally blind patients.  Your goals for low vision care will be discussed, and your level of functional vision will be determined.  The doctors will then make appropriate recommendations for accessory magnifying devices to assist you in your activities of daily living.  You will have the opportunity to test these devices in the office.
